Core Principle for Compliance

Based on these corporate principles, and in order to be the trusted, sound, and sincere company we need to be in order to survive, what underlies employment contracts between us and all our officers, employees, dispatched personnel, part-timers and others are business activities that adhere to laws and company regulations.

 


Code of Conduct

  1. We follow relevant laws, rules, regulations, manuals, standards and so on in carrying out our businesses.
  2. We must not disclose or leak confidential information obtained from customers to third parties.
  3. Aware of our duties as a corporate citizen, we must not make decisions or take actions that lack social morals.
  4. We reject any and all connections with anti-social forces or groups that threaten social order or safety.
  5. We must not use our position to accept personal interests or advantages from business partners.
  6. We must carefully manage information related to corporate secrets and never disclose or leak it to third parties either during or after our employment.

Operational System

We have set up a Compliance Committee as an organization to support, direct, and manage matters to ensure compliance is enacted properly.


Personal Information Protection Policy

Aoki Trans is aware of our social duty to protect personal information.
We have established a Personal Information Protection Policy and strive to protect personal information appropriately.

  1. Obtaining personal information shall be only done when the purpose of use is made clear, said information is necessary to achieve that purpose, and the information obtained shall be only that required to achieve that purpose. Personal information obtained by us shall be used within the scope required to carry out our work in the following businesses:
Port transport, shipping cargo handling, shipping agency, warehousing, customs clearance, international multimodal transport, coastal shipping, car transport handling, air cargo handling, non-life insurance agency, leasing

2. We shall comply with laws, regulations, rules, and other standards related to the protection of personal information.

3. We shall take security measures to prevent improper access to personal information, or its loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage.

4. Unless stipulated by law, we shall not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the information owner.

5. We shall create, implement, and maintain internal management regulations for the protection of personal information, and strive to improve them regularly.


Core Policy for the Protection of Individual Numbers and Personally Identifiable Information

We have established the following policy regarding the protection of Individual Numbers and personally identifiable information (hereafter collectively referred to as “personally identifiable information”) when handling personally identifiable information based on the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures.

  1. We shall handle personally identifiable information appropriately within the scope of Individual Number-related work specified by the law.
  2. We shall collect, use, provide, store, and dispose of personally identifiable information appropriately as well as create internal regulations stipulating matters concerning these.
  3. We shall provide the necessary and appropriate training for those who handle personally identifiable information.
  4. We shall comply with laws, regulations, policies, and other standards related to the handling of personally identifiable information.
  5. We shall create measures for safe management to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personally identifiable information. In addition, we shall take corrective measures promptly in the event of any leak, etc.
  6. We shall respond appropriately and promptly to inquiries directed to the offices below regarding our handling of personally identifiable information.
  7. We shall regularly revise and improve our systems for managing personally identifiable information.
